Internal Transfer: With Hosting Package

Thank you for contacting Fasthosts Support Team and our sincerest apology for the inconvenience. Please check on the article below on how you can internally transfer a domain name to another Fasthosts account:

Please take note that you can only transfer domain registration from one account to another. Hosting could not be transferred. If the domain name is attached to a hosting in your account, the receiving account won’t be able to add any hosting in their end. In the event that the domain name that you are transferring is attached to a hosting package in your account and you wanted to get rid of the hosting as well, you need to follow the steps below.

You need to remove the domain name from the hosting package in your account. Before removing the domain name from the hosting package, please make sure that necessary back-up has been done. Please remember that removing a domain name from a hosting package, would mean, deleting all files from our server permanently.

1. Go to WEBSITE tab then click on Manage Packages.
2. Click the domain name.
3. Scroll down and click Change Domain Name button on the lower left corner of the page.
4. Select the second option which is to remove the domain from the package  and click Continue.
5. Tick the confirmation box and click continue.
6. Follow on screens instructions.

After that, you have the option to cancel the empty hosting (if not under contract) or use another domain name for it. If anything is unclear or if there is anything I can do for you, please feel free to let us know.
